About Us

Levow Kesson is a well known mixed voice choir based in St Neot, whose members are drawn from across South East Cornwall. Established in 2015, each and every choir member who lends their voice to the mix is committed to creating a unique and memorable musical experience.

 

So what does Levow Kesson have that so many other choirs don’t? Well besides total melodic unison, years of experience, and a brilliant, shining passion for their art, they’re also committed to supporting gifted musicians as well as their local community.

Under the musical directorship of Heather Taylor, the choir performs a fun and vibrant repertoire with contemporary favourites like Chilcott and Lauridsen, standards by Billy Joel and The Beatles, as well as world music such as African folksongs and Slavonic music.

 

Since its inception, the choir has helped to raise many thousands for many local causes and various charities. Through their concert performances, they have proudly supported charities such as: the RNLI, Cornwall Hospice South West, Marie Curie Cancer Care, Help for Heroes, and Cornwall & Devon Air Ambulance Services. In 2023 alone, Levow Kesson helped to raise over £3000 for the Royal British Legion.
